Tottenham started the season with four victories from six games across all competitions, but they have only been successful in winning one of their past four games, a convincing 5-1 triumph over Coventry United of the Championship in the League Cup.

Spurs have suffered three straight defeats in the WSL, including a 2-0 loss to London rivals West Ham United last weekend at home.

Dagny Brynjarsdottir scored West Ham’s first goal after the teams played out a scoreless first half. Hawa Cissoko increased West Ham’s lead in the 83rd minute, ending any hopes Tottenham had of salvaging a point.

Tottenham has lost its last three league games, and throughout that time, they have also been scoreless.

Although Rehanne Skinner will be disappointed with her side’s form in recent weeks, Spurs will finish the calendar year in the top half if they can claim all three points on Wednesday.

Everton, however, missed the opportunity to snap a run of three straight league losses over the weekend when their match with Brighton & Hove Albion was postponed.

In their previous five games, the Toffees had only one victory, which came against League Cup opponent Sheffield United of the second division.

Everton’s most recent game was similarly a League Cup contest, however on that time, Manchester United defeated them 4-2.

Like Wednesday’s opponents, the Toffees scored two goals in the loss to United, but they have also had trouble scoring this year.

They are currently the second-lowest scorers in the WSL with seven goals in eight games, but they will be looking for an improvement in the final third on Wednesday, as they attempt to move into the top half of the league table.

1×2 Betting Odds

With both sides struggling in the final third, we expect Wednesday’s game to be a cagey contest, but after wining two of their last three away league games, we think Everton might be able to claim all three points!
