Chelsea has easily defeated a potentially challenging group this season after failing to advance past the first round last year.

In their five group games, they have won four and drawn one, including a convincing 4-0 victory over Vllaznia last week that guaranteed them a spot in the quarterfinals.

Chelsea moved three points ahead of PSG at the top of the group with a comfortable victory in Albania thanks to goals from Sophie Ingle, Fran Kirby, Katerina Svitkova, and Maren Mjelde.

Chelsea will be motivated to keep up their impressive run of form even though they are aware that all they need to do to secure first place is avoid a loss by two goals or more.

The Blues are currently unbeaten in their last 14 matches in all competitions, and they also have the chance to claim a third consecutive win on Thursday.

PSG defeated Real Madrid at the Parc des Princes last week to advance to the knockout stages, just like their hosts.

Elisa de Almeida scored first, Kadidiatou Diani doubled the lead from the penalty spot on the hour mark, and even though Claudia Zornoza pulled one back for the Spanish team in the 81st minute, PSG held on to win by a slim margin of 2-1.

PSG understands that in order to overtake Chelsea, who are three points behind them, they must win by a score of at least two goals.

A 10-game unbeaten streak in all competitions has been started by Gerard Precheur’s team since they suffered a 1-0 loss to Chelsea on October 20.

They have also won their last seven competitive matches, although a run of six consecutive clean sheets was ended by Real Madrid last week.
